Ingredients

For the Marinade

  • 1 cup dill pickle juice
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 oz)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
  • 1 pinch garlic powder (optional) Adds extra flavor if desired

For the Pretzels

  • 1 bag pretzel twists (16 oz)

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, add the pretzel twists.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the dill pickle juice, ranch seasoning mix, olive oil, dried dill weed, and garlic powder, if using. Whisk everything together until fully combined.
  • Pour the seasoning mixture over the pretzels. Using a spatula or your hands, ensure that the pretzels are evenly coated with the mixture.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid. Let the pretzels marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature, or for extra flavor, refrigerate them for a few hours or overnight.

Baking (Optional)

  • Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C). Spread the marinated pretzels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for about 30 minutes, stirring halfway through. This step adds a nice crunch to the pretzels, but it’s optional.

Serving

  • Once done, take them out of the oven and let them cool. Serve them as a snack or appetizer.

Notes

Make sure to not over-marinate the pretzels, use fresh ingredients, and watch the bake time to prevent burning.
